A new ring light, supported by an existing aluminium light, in one of the conference rooms at the Court of Justice of the European Union, Luxembourg.
Existing light
Information from the industrial designer shows two ellipse lights, approximately 13m (outer) and 10m (inner) on the long axis. The profile is a channel section carrying the services and bulbs, covered by a top plate. Vertical cables are pin-connected to a welded internal channel.
New ring light
The new ring light is proposed with a channel section similar to the existing aluminium light, hung from the existing structure.
