Why engineers join us
We advertise for specific roles and are always glad to hear from structural and civil engineers. The practice is growing, and the people who join now shape how it works.
You get the whole project. We are a small practice, so engineers here scope a job, design it, issue it and answer site queries on it. You will be talking to the architect and the contractor directly.
Both disciplines, one room. Structural and civil sit together. People who join on one side usually end up competent on the other, which is rare and makes you useful for the rest of your career.
The full range of our services. In a year you might set levels and drainage on a waterfront land development, assess an existing frame for a vertical extension, and design for seismic action on a resort. Same service list, applied across nine sectors.
Chartership is paid for and planned. Fees, study leave and a mentor, with a pay rise on award. We treat it as the firm's job, not a hobby you fit around deadlines.
A team people stay in. A friendly team that likes working together, and leadership that has come from practices across the UK and abroad. As we grow there is room to move up rather than wait for someone to leave.
Hybrid, set with your team. Two days at home, agreed around the project rather than a company rule.
Working here
You will be on live projects, talking to the design team, and signing your own calculations. Chartership is supported and paid for. Both disciplines sit in the same room.
