For the second year in a row, engineeria projects have been nominated for industry awards. We have been named as a finalist at the London Construction Awards, the leading and most prestigious construction awards in London.
The LCA recognises achievements, developments and innovation within London’s booming construction industry and features a wide range of categories for contractors, engineers, architects, developers and local authorities.
engineeria entered the “Process Innovation of the year” category, which is focused on how companies have developed working methods which result in greater efficiency, or have seen a substantial improvement in profits as a result of introducing new processes. We used one of the projects we have delivered, a £3M high end residential small project in London, as example of a design resolution process and technological integration. engineeria were appointed to carry out the structural design and help oversee construction of a new, unusual basement.
We used a streamlined digital and managerial process to resolve fundamental issues, designed a bespoken structural proposal (in the shape of a “spoon”) and engaged digitally with the sub-contractor to provide the design information required to complete the structure.
Being nominated for the LCA Award is a great achievement which we are extremely proud of, especially considering the very high number and quality of entries for this prize.
